Browsing back some 15 pages I was not able to find any information, maybe someone did it before:

What happens with already placed furniture and items if you use /transferstructure?

/transferstructure works on any structure.. houses factories harvesters

all it does it put the structure in the new persons name, remove the old owner from admin (all the rest of the admin list in still in tact).. all the furnityure, factory input and output, harvester hoppers are all still intact with whatever was in them

but how it works exactly pls?

i mean do u target the structure and type then just /transferstructur <name> or how u do it?

also how with houses pls, since u cant target it or can u and i just oversaw that?

For factories and harvesters, just select the structure. For houses, I stand in the house and select the structure control terminal. Then type /transferstructure Vader where "Vader" is the character name you are transferring to. Some things to keep in mind:

1. The new owner must be in the vicinity - next to you is good.
2. The new owner must have enough free lots for a structure of that type.
3. *You* will be removed from the admin list right away. Obviously if you are selling it to someone else, that's fine - you are done. But if you are transferring to a friend so they can use their lots for you, make sure that the first thing the friend does is put you back on the admin list.

Yes you target the structure.. You CAN target houses.. u ever clicked on a house sign before ?

i just click on the house sign then transferstrucutre
