Can someone tell me what tool and station to use when experimenting on Micro Sensor Suites? It seems like I've tried every combination of tool and station, but for some reason I never get the option to experiment. It's kind of frustrating.

Same station and tools you use to experiment on the subcomponents.

Weapon/droid/general crafting tools and stations. You need to be standing almost right in front of it though in the middle. I found if I stand to the side just a little bit, I don't get the experiement option. Stand right in from and right in the middle. Strange how I can be in the next room and get experimentation for my structure or food/chem station but for the weapon/droid, I have to be in just the right spot.

use a (weapon droid and general) crafting tool at a (weapon droid and general) crafting station

if your making them for crafting station make sure you use the best sub components you can in them, the sub's don't show in the experimentation rating but they affect the final crafting station rating

I thought that's what you had to do to experiment on them, just never seemed to work for me. It's funny, I can experiment on GP Modules, etc., all I want, but wheneverI try to do Micros it has never worked. I haven't actually made that many of them, so it's possible I just wasn't close enough to the station during those times or something.

Does it have to be a personal crafting station, by chance? I think I've only tried to make them with public crafting stations.
