Hello. I am a new architect (almost!) and I need help trying to determine prices. Resources on my server seem to be higher than 3cpu on the bazaar since it seems the growing trend is to be in a guild and the guild raises the resources and then don't worry about the bazaar. For four days straight you couldn't buy any steel unless it was 500 units for 3000. Don't even mention ore. It is sold as soon as it hits the market, really I search galaxy wide and as soon as I see it, click buy but it's already gone. I have some of the basic harvesters pulling some on Talus to stockpile.

I was a tailor on another server and I can see how people keep lowballing the prices. Unfortunately, in that profession I was guilty of this as I worked my way up. You see fiberplast is also rare on my server (sold for 250 - 500 unitsfor 3000)and you needed that to grind, but there was no money coming in (and Tailor's aren't known for their great combat ability so 25k missions were not an option) so you run delivery or crafting missions and then you make what you can that you know people will buy and sell for 3k on the bazaar, even though you lose money on the resources. But...you had plenty of the one resource so you could make it and now you have money coming in. It wasn't until a few days later I realized how much money I was losing in this process. Once I set reasonable prices for time and resources, I made some money, but frequently watched the bazaar and items that cost over 6k to make with over 10 factory components and 3 different rare resources were selling all over the bazaar for 1500 credits. These were up and coming tailors again doing the same thing I once did. Eventually they will see they are losing money and will stop. But I did not want to get into the same trap with my architect profession.

Once someone posted an excel spreadsheet link with pricing calculator, but that link is no longer valid as it takes me to a 'cannot load' page. Does anyone else have a link to a pricing calculator or can help? I do not want to make the same mistakes I previously made. I DO understand why items are pricedthe way they areand want to help the Architect community thrive and prosper, not hurt it in any way.

If there is someone who can give me a second chance as I work on my new profession, please help me.
