Thread: Ceasing operations till the latest bug is fixed
As some of you may be aware, since the last patch, something seriously wrong has happened to the formulas that affect the amount of critical failures that occur when crafting items, at both the experimentation phase, and more importantly, during the construction phase.
Before the patch I would of been lucky to incur a critical failure in one in 20 crafting and experimentation sessions (possibly higher). Since the patch, almost every item that I have attempted to craft will critical fail at some stage during the crafting process. To give you an example of the scope of the problem, to date (since lastWednesdays patch)I have lost in total.....5 heavy mineral harvestors, 3 deep crust chems, 4 heavy floras, a couple of fusion generators, 5 solar generators,2 large houses, 2 medium houses, several statues and fountains, andnumerous items of furniture and components.
In addition, those items that have not failed on construction have failed at some stage during experimentation - and even if a critical failure is attained on the first experimentation point, the other 9 points do not seem to count and efficiency ratings remain at 0%. Ie; the crafting and experimentationfor architectsseem to me to beseriously bugged (would be interesting to hear how other crafters such as ASs' and WS's are finding it).
And please note that I currently use a +14.17 crafting tool and a +43.75 Structure crafting station, and all of the resources that I am using have been at least +900 in HR, SR & UT (on average) - evenhand madewalls created from high quality components fail at above 50% rates!!
Accordingly (and with a very heavy heart), I will not be accepting any more orders for architect related goods or Master Artisan related products until further notice.
At present I do have a selection of deeds on my vendor that are for sale and were made prior to the last patch or that I managed to get created that successfully made it through experimentation or failed at the last point(mainly BER9 Medium Mineral Harvestors,a couple ofBER12 Heavy extractors and BER14 Fusion generators).
I apologise to all of my customers for having to take this course of action, but at the present rates of critical failures (and the resultant loss of resources that these failures incur) I am unable to sustain my business at this rate of losses.
Once this issue has been sorted out, I will return to production and will post accordingly to the board.
