What is Residence? I accidentally clicked on it on my house management terminal and now I cant summon pets out of town unless Im near town, my house, or campsite.

I take it you cant place useable containers in your house? If I drop a backpack on the floor, will I be able to store items inside it?

How many items can you drop on the floor of your house? Will they disappear?

It's my understanding thatpets and droids can ONLY be called out while in a camp, city, or near your declared residence. But you can also deploy droids (not sure about pets) in anyone's home as well. I've also discovered several outdoor areas outside Kaadara where I can deploy my droids, even though my declared residence is between Keren and Theed.

You can drop unlocked containers on the floor of your house and use them for storage. You can also drop travel packs, satchels, and cargo pockets as well, and store items there too. They do not, however, increase the storage capacity of your house.

There is a 250 item limit for all houses, regardless of size. And they do not disappear (at least I haven't heard any reports of items vanishing). However, you must pick up all items before redeeding a house, otherwise they will be lost.

Kind of silly that they capped the item limit at 250 for ALL structures Is that limit the same for PA halls? If so, what exactly is the purpose of a PA hall? Just so I can have a tag next to my name?
