Hello, I reached Engineer yesterday and am wondering the best suggestions for getting novice arch.

Some say bone armor (though collecting hide/bone is a tiem cnosuming process). I have about 25k of linksteel aluminum, but it's 993 overall quality, and I'm thinking about hanging onto it. I'm currently mining a TON of carbonate ore and other low grade ore to prepare me for when i hit arch, but right now I'm just not sure what to craft. I've got about 10k of fiberplast too.

Survey devices? Wookiee wear? Weapon powerups? What to make....

I'm looking for the max exp for the fewest clicks. Technically I could grind out wind gens or harvesters, but it seems to be tough to unload those...

Grinding out wind gens/harvesters won't get you any GC XP or any closer to Novice Arch.

Gens/harvesters give you Structure XP.

Well I did it the hard way. I crafted Combat staves.

I couldnt find anything that game better than 90 a pop, and I had a very good supply or ore, steel and wood.

It was a long road, and I wasted a ton of materials, but combat staves did the trick for me.

Thanks - i found it a bit odd that my GC EXP wasnt going up from making my harvesters.

I was considering offering to make bone armor for free in shouts (just bring me the hide and bone), but Restuss/Rori in general is a low populatino place. Perhaps i should relocate to corellia for this step.

Bone Armor Chest Plates are the way to go, if you don't mind spending some credits to advance fast. In practice mode you get around 650xp each when you count the fiberplast panels and armor segments. You'll have to make a total of 50 or so to reach Nov Arch. The expense is well worth the saved time.
