Thread: How to retrieve lost items in walls
I get this question a lot in game
Someone loses a pack or item in a wall.
1. you much know the name of the object
2. stand next to and facing the wall where you lost it.
3. type /move <object name> back 5
Example /move travel pack back 5
This works on the non selectable curved couch bug.
/pickup couch
/rotate couch right # (# being degrees)
etc
Hope this has helped

does it work when you rename the pack though? Like am I suppose to say /move <original name> or /move components and what if you have more than one pack by the same name. Will I have 5 packs at my command all moving at the same time when I do a general command like that?
not sure if doing it wrong is why I ask.. but someone emailed me this about that couch and trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. Is it /move space name or /movename and the forward back etc I know
Hey cool!! I just retrieved a nice carbine I had stuck in my stairs for 2 weeks! THANKS!!!!!!!!
I thought is was gone forever
Funny, I tried it onb a renamed pack long ago and this did not work.
Also future refference for everyone:
Look in your keymaps and there should be a command to cycle through target history, where you can select lost items in walls if the command line wont work when trying to use the specific name. After having it selected just type /movefurniture back 5 (or any number, just an example)
what if it's more than 1 word item? For instance I lost a Bounty Hunter's Backpack in my buddies wall. What would I type to get it out? /move BountyHunterBackpack back 5?
I have an $8k Scout blaster in my stairwell. Will try this as soon as I get home, thanks!
Also, is there a <tab> targeting key for non-enemies/inanimate objects?

Not that I know of.
Also, you must know the exact name of that blaster.
example /move SxII Super Dooper Scout RamaJama Pistola back 5

You have to use the exact name.. spaces and punctuations etc etc
