Remind them that without you, they get no crafted item at the end and then see what they think your services are worth. The fact that you can't kill anything doesn't mean you aren't valuable to their team. If they can't see that, then tell them to take a hike.

Absolutely refuse to go. You bring a vital service that you have invested time and skill points into along for the benefit of the group as a whole. Unless they are willing to definitively and comprehensively compensate you for your time in a manner that is acceptable to all parties - tell 'em to stuff it.

This type of attitude bugs the bajeebus out of me - but you know what? I mostly find it coming from immature morons anyway who are on a one way trip to getting me triple incapped and killed... Mature, reasonable and dare I say, experienced players tend not to act so selfishly immature. So if a group balks at offering you reward right up front and only agrees to do it reluctantly and bickering - it may still be a good group to avoid...

I agree! Your spending your valuable playing helping them and they dont want give you anything, thats crazy!

I'm an architect and i think that we crafters get no love. I have been pulled in for things like that and i get nothing. Just a waste of time.

I agree completely, any work deserve compensation and since they don't want to give anything, then tell them to bother someone else. Because without you, they won't get anything done anyway since like most combat oriented, all their skill points are gonna be there.

You will there for one reason and that is to craft their jetpack which can be sold from 30m+ all because the guild or group are pure fighters.

charge them what ever u feel ur time is worth

i do not go by the market value to a point i try to keep it within the range maybe little higher but ignore it


ur taking up ur time from playing ur game and u could be making money in crafting harvesters guild halls furniture droids what ever but they want to pull u from making money ur way so charge them how much u feel that time lost is worth keep in mind it takes time from u making your business work during the time frame ur in the bunker with them

do not feel guilty of charging tell them ur price if they do not like it tell them to hoof it and find another sucker

i been in this game too long ignore this char stats on the forums my alt is the crafter and my orginal charactor

those people would not give u a jetpack for free will they?

here is a example

i have a friend that trust me

so he came up to me and told me he had parts for 3 av-21 and told me if i build the 3 i can keep 1 now thats a fair trade off as i felt i was worth that to take the time to do it he even was nice enough to throw in the normal resources required for it and i wind up with a 2 million credit av-21 speeder that i been wanting.


so just to show if u stand ur ground and put ur foot down they will respec u more the reason why my friend did that was he knew that i do not craft for free never ever only to guild mates and close friends only and favers i owe that kinda of thing but other than that he knows how strict i am and he knew that i am not hurting for money so he placed an offer on the table that he knew i would not refuse on because i have formed a rep in this kind of situation i done the dwb and made 12 mil credits for 1 run with a group.

so its ur time ur effert ur resources and ur experience so charge charge charge charge and charge them till their broke but they need to remember they NEED u more then u need them.
