this is replacing an old thread i made which was deleted for reasons that is to long to explain

this is the basic summary:

--- We need to take more leadership and let people know that they cant just walk all over us becuase we also have lives, and to STOP asking for free things

--- we need to higher the prices on our crafted items

i REALLY need to emphasize this.... our economy sometimes fails becuase people put their items for to low of a price... like deeds for 3k, or good furniture for 100-300 credits. i say that i price my things very well... (most furniture is 1k) but it hurts when i see people selling their things for 1/4 of that price.. i think MOST (not all) of the people that underprice their stuff are noobs or half noobs that are desperate for money, or just general people that are desperate for money.... i dont get as many customers becuase i sell my things at a normal price,and the customers i should be getting just skip me and find some1 who will sell the same things dirt cheap.

SO: i am asking you and all architects to higher their prices to at least a decent price for our hard work.. and to let others know that they should to.. becuase underpricing something is like hurting the economy of all of us...

.. just figured id let everyone know how i felt.... and wondered if people also felt this way.... if u agree just post /sign.. or whatever positive reaction u have...

Most low pricers eventually either raise their prices or quit.

I find that the most important things for my customers is surprisingly not price, but availability and selection.

I keep all my architect vendors stocked with all the craftable furniture - nearly all paintings (including looted paintings) - all high ber harvestors (for various levels) - all factories - all small houses, med houses, large houses - and most other city structures. Sure my prices are slightly above average for my server but it costs me tremendous time to keep all my vendors stocked - so the prices keep things from flying off my vendors so fast that I can't restock. However, people keep coming to me specifically because they know that when they shop my vendors they will find what they are looking for.

Most Architects do not even make furniture on Tempest anymore. This is a direct result of low ballers. Me, I just sit back and wait till I hear someone gripe and charge my usual for pricing on a special order.

I have difficulty stocking furniture as my vendor limits are usually reserved for resources, crafting stations and arch deeds.
