Architect Archive

Since getting novice architect I have been getting /tells asking me if I can make aquariums, waterfalls,etc.. I have no idea how to make them. Is there a web site I can go to with instructions and tips how to make these things?

Any info you guys may have will be helpful.

Oh yeah, I have been making walls for my exp, so have them for sale on Bloodfin if anyone needs any

there kinda hard to make, at least time consuming

what you need or they need is a house with stairs

then you move furniture items(bookcases chests etc) together unitl they look like a fishtank then u put caught fish into em

its kinda hard to describe in the forums but i hope that helps

Although I don't know about aquariums and waterfalls, here are some commands I didn't know about at first to arrange things in your house...

/movefurniture FORWARD/BACK X

Where X = number of "spaces", moving 1 lets you fine tune placements


/rotatefurniture LEFT/RIGHT Y

Where Y = number of degrees, 1 - 360 (although moving it 360 is kind of pointless...)


Also, if you drop things on stair they will be at the level of your feet on the stairs, and will stay at that height. So you can drop guns or paintings on the stairs, then use the commands above to place them on walls as decoration.

well, i'll be honest, there aren't a lot of tips other than what they've already said and i do a lot of these. I'd suggest making a toolbar of macro's for movement of objects though or you'll kill yourself typing.

It's really more of a drop and place, twist and move type of thing til you get the desired effect you are looking for.
