is there a crafting module or do i just put a crafting station into one of the optional module slots ? if that works, what type of droids can i squeeze crafting stations in ?

There are specific crafting modules (one for Weapons / droids, one for Armor / Tailor, and one for Structures).

Most any droid can hold a module. Even the lowly MSE droid can hold a crafting module.

Okay... I just bought a droid from a DE with Structure Crafting Capability. So how do I use it. When I right click on it, the only command I get is Follow and Store. How do I get other commands beside the standard ones? (i.e. Group, Patrol, Formation, etc.)

you say in spatial the following: "Craft [amount] [itemname]" and the droid will make what you ask it to .

Just kidding. The droid acts as a portable crafting station with a rating of 0.

For instance if the droid has a structure crafting module installed you can use your structure crafting tool standing right next to the droid and you will be able to experement and create schematics as if you were standing in the city or in your house at a crafting station.

You don't need to do anything - it just works as a crafting station when it's pulled out and your stood close to it. Allows you to experiment etc away from home!

Usefull to have if you are making draft schematics next to your factories that dont need experimentation with.
Beats going back and forth to your private crafting stations to make schematics.
You can even buy droids with storage modules also aswell as crafting capabilities

I love crafting droids. I just transferred from Tarq to Starsider a couple weeks ago and only last night did I remember my crafting droid wasn't transferrable. I went right out and purchased another! Great for standing in the middle of my factories and making my schematics. Not out of laziness, but I always forget which resources I need to use by the time I get to my factories with 5 different schem's.
