Um, I THINK at one point or another I was able to stick the lamps stand into the wall with just the light part of it showing.
I haven't it tried it since then though so I'm not sure if you can still do it.

I use the small black & gold table top lamps (forget which ones they are named) as wall lamps occasionally since they are flat in back. Also you can rotate bestine candles and back into the wall by 50 and you'll have just the one candle showing.
Pretty much all of the furniture will move forward into the wall by 50. There are a few that drop away from the wall instead of right on it tho.

Is it possible to take a desklamp and turn it in such a way that it appears to be a wall lamp? (like dim lighting).
