Thread: Bestine Museum voting broken?

I talked to the curator of the Bestine Museum today. He gave me the locations of the three artists for the next painting vote.


But when I talked to the artists, two of them had scripts unrelated to paintings, and the last one just mentionedher painting was in the museum. This is completely different from the previous scripts, where each artist would talk about the kinds of paintings they like to do. When I returned to the curator, he acted as if I hadn't talked to the artists at all.


This was on the Radiant server. Is anyone else having the same problem? If so, be sure to report the problem with /bug. I'd hate for this to be ignored or forgotten by the Devs. The paintings have been my best selling items for the last month!

i talked to the curator the other day, he said the voting wouldn't start for another week. maybe you just got a bugged messege.

I had the same thing happen to me last night on the Tempest server. I haven't logged on yet today so I don't know if it has been fixed yet.

i wonder how many people actually vote??


i have stopped wasting my time on that little trip across TAT...i just buy the schmatics...

maybe you have to wait for server reset the day after the guy says they are looking for a new painting?

Funny enough, the Radiant server had a reset sometime today (after I couldn't vote). So I went back to Bestine tonight and discovered the voting is working properly now.

I went through this too..but realized my mistake. The next time it worked.


When you speak to the museum curator and after you get the 3 locations for artists... You must then select from Converse, OK, I've got it now (or something like that). Then he tells you to find them and come back.


Then the artists will have a diff converse option regarding the voting.

Ditto, I seriously dont have the time to go find all the artists and then vote. Who do they think we are?

it was actually kind of fun the first time


a pain the second


the third is really a waste of my time....


do they really think that this is "content" that people wil want to do the next 6 months...


i mean let me spend an hour waiting for shuttles....


at this point we have already talked to all the "artists"...i dont need to make the trip to vote...


we are going to get ALL the schematics anyway


i wonder what happens is no one votes?

The voting is functioning properly on Flurry, albeit with one small glitch:

It's the same $#cking options as last time!!!!!

Vanvi Hotne (Blumbush Painting) last cycle's Flurry winner

Kolka Ztent (Residential Building Painting)

Kahfr Oladi (Mon Calamari Eye Painting)

While I appreciate a second chance to get the HUGE Mon Cal Eye painting, I feel that the Blumbush Painting (Vanvi Hotne) Artist should have been substituted for another artist; geez, you won once, give someone else a crack at it

I'm pretty sure it's bugged. I guess we'll end up with the Blumbush for ANOTHER month now

I'm losing patience with the Dev's and this game :/

Actually if nobody votes it takes longer to get schematic. The curator will put up a new schematic at a certain amount of votes. I may be misinformed so who really knows, but majority of people say its dependant on a certain amount of votes. On Bria the voting has been going on for 3 days now.
