Geeez Zen! I would think by my notation of off-topic and my asking up front for help to know where the place to go for this is sufficient for you to understand I already KNOW this isn't the place for this.

Still I have found a home here in this forum and most of the others are are kind and more eager to help point me in the direction without feeling the need to slap my wrists.

i had the same thing happen to me this week...

i have lived in the same spot since last june....

then like wednesday -- out of the blue --- some idiots plop a town down INFRONT OF MY HOUSE...\

it really isnt a good spot for a town which leads me to believe they are just stupid kids....

thee town boundry literraly -- at the moment --- stops at my door step...

not only will i have to pay these cretins taxes but i have to look at there scarggly town...my entire view has been ruined...

my home used to be a nice place i could go to to relax and craft....they have just made me want to quite the game as everything i was trying to get away from is now 20 feet away.

i am considering just giving thema new hall and 10 medium houses and asking them to relocate...

god i hate player cities

Iplyvi, ya I think this is a bit obnoxious of them. Not sure what they are thinking. It is common courtesy to ask. If you outnumber them then you can just vote them out.

I think the numbers are about even, but yes, the politician forum has said the same thing, organize and vote him out, then destroy the hall.

The good news is that every response is outrage so at least I know this isn't an 'acceptable' game strategy. What a punk!

well thats kind of my plan....

and you are an Master Archtiect so it makes sense for you to be mayor and build the town .....then when you get in destroy it!!!!

but then again it might be fun to do a town while you where mayor....we never really get to use anything we build...

but i would try a milder approach at first....just offer to build tehm a new hall and throw in a shuttle port or something and get them to leave willingly

OK, I never saw this coming and I need to know what others have done before or where I might even have a chance to get some help.

I've had my 'production complex' on dantooine for a while now, indenpendent of any cities, about 12 structures in all (between me and my alt). THere are another 12 buildings owned by others that are also indenpendent.

Well someone plunked down a city hall and now I got emails on all of it saying 'Welcome and thanks for joining our cities - please pay our taxes!" (paraphrasing). WHAT GIVES?!!

I feel totally violated!! Is this an acceptable practice? I know the rules say they can place anywhere I guess - but isn't there some unwritten courtesy not to hijack other people like this?? I don't wish to move, I'm burried in the mountains, on the water - it's beautiful. I produce my goods here to get away from the city I DID choose to join. A little retreat one might say.

So the question is - has this happened to anyone else here? Am I stuck and just bend over and take it? Is there an option that I can say NO THANK YOU? This just doesn't seem fair on SOOOOOOo many levels.

I appreciate any help or direction to another forum to get the help or any offers to help me blow up their city hall (OK OK, I'm not violent, but...).....

I think you can just go to the city hall managment terminal and click: Revoke Residence
