Thread: Resource density is to low
Hello all,
Question. I ran around looking for a resource and i find a 77% concentration. I set up my harvester (as this the only planet this resource is from and turn it on. I goto sample to see the quality so I can tell my friend and I get the message Resource density is to low to locate a sample. Well i check in my harvesters hopper I just sat down and it had 6 units already. I take those out to get the quality information I needed. My question is, does this mean this resource is shifting in or out?
Thank you for any information you can provide.
Nah, it's just a surveying bug that pops up so often, and is typically assoicated with a particular resoruce (Carbonite Ore is where I've run into it a couple of times). There's no real way to tell if something is shifting in/out than watching and keeping track of when it showed up, then guessing when it will leave

What I do for those situations where I *absolutely* have to know whats in the area or what the quality is of the "too low to sample material" is....i plop a harvestor down on it, tell it to mine, and as soon as it mines 1 unit , i grab it from the hopper and I'm able to look at it.
