Thread: Aquarium? What the!?!?!
no people make them i know a guy who charges 100k for them.
i cant figure it out either but its legit.
I built one last night, see my sig for a waypoint, where it is at.
As far as how to build one, that is up to you. Item count was a big issue with mine, yet it needed to be big enough to be impressive. So I used structure modules as the base and top. Not the prettiest of things, but it worked once they were all put together. I used the small flower plant to 'fill in' the bricks on the bottom. Worked great. Looks like a gray panel sides for the base and top and the seeming isn't bad. I used reinforced combat staffs for the sides.
Now there is no 'water'. The only way to sort of create water is to use the confind space with different lighting to create the illusion of water. Even then the fish are static and their just isn't water there, so you end up with just the suggestion of water and live fish. Even then it still works, thought not perfect.
One of my customers ordered 20 of the 1st level chests to make her aquarium. She had me name each chest aquarium. This must be done in a 2 story structure by dropping on steps and pushing the items across at different levels (also fish and plants.)

I have a very large aquarium in my shop. It's very nice and customers come from all planets to stop by and see this aquarium that they heard of. No one is disappointed so I'm very happy with the results. I will say that the item count for it drove my crafting station (and it's resource hopper) out of the house so because it is alot of items to build one of this size.
The only advice I can give to building these that I haven't already seen is simply to create macros for the /commands for moving furniture. Even using the !/mo command will get to be a killer after a short while. With the macros it still took me probably 3 hours to assemble mine.
