When I was having trouble getting ore as an architect this was the lowest price I could get. Even selling at 3 per on a finished product the price worked for me. It may not for everyone else but it did for me. I had a hard time getting all the ore I need. When I started buy it from a supplier I had more lots to use on the other matierals (steel, copper, alum, reactive gas). I figured I mined these resources at 0.4 per because of it was easier to get high concentration. So take a heavy mineral

15900 ore x 2.5 = 39750 credits

11870 mined material x 0.4 = 4748 credits

39750 + 4748 = 44498 credits total

44498 credits divided by 27770 total resources used = 1.6 credits per resource to build

But this is just the math I used befor I started working in the mining buisness. And doing this I was able to fill far more orders then if I mined the ore myself. By getting into the mining buisness I am truely just trying to help.
