I was wondering how does everyone get there furniture to sit on tables such as food or Lamps. Also how do you make Furniture sit Diagnol, I can only get them to rotate in a 90deg rotation. Thank you

you can type /rotate <left/right> <1-180> to rotate furniture

type /move <forward/back> <1-50> to move it

and to get things onto tables you must place it on the stairs.

Actually you would type:

/movefurniture forward/back

/rotatefurniture left/right

*Remember furniture moves in the direction your character is facing!

And to get something on a wall or on a table you need to drop it from stairs (the height you would want it to be on the wall for example). If your house does not have strairs in it you will not be able to do it.

I'm 100% positive you do nothave to typetype /movefurniture forward

The first method was correct you simply highlight the piece and do /move forward 4 or /move back 10 or anything along those lines. It's a much better method because it gives an exact distance. Same with highlighting the piece and doing /rotate left 45 to make it diagnal, or any other number from 1-180

But yes, pay attention to the direction your character is facing. If you are inline with the piece with your back to it, then doing /forward will move it towards you whereas doing /back moves it away. If you are slightyly angled it will move that direction... which is really nice to know when trying to allign things right next to eachother. It's still nice to be able to simply stand in the area and drop it if you can though.

And yes, to make things on top of tables you have to float it over by dropping on stairs and doing forward or back... still hoping they will incorporate an up down command.

Oh, and if you have a problem where you cannot highlight an item or it gets stuck in the wall.. remember what it was named and do /pickup <name of item>

I had a really nice CSR assist me with my half moon couch after a talk about the problem, but often you can get someone else to help you if they have a video card that allows them to activate the work around.
