Thread: Paintings and other non-craftable items
Could someone please tell me how to obtain these decorative items? I bought a painting from the bazaar but where do they come from - I'd like to do the missions or tasks to get them myself. Can someone help me? I was able to get the engraved pens by asking a businessman for a task, is it another NPC that gives the task for the other rewards, such as paintings, bantha statues, etc.

Different NPCs will give different missions. Sometimes the NPCs will give you an item to deliver, other times you get the item from the destination NPC, and other times you get an item for completion of the mission.
Here's a quick list of things you can find:
I get paintings from an NPC on Narlme's Starport, Rori. The NPC is in one of the Guild Hall buildings. After getting the mission, you have to run out about 1000m from the city, find a Gungan artist, and pickup the painting. Then put the painting in your backpack or bank, go back to the NPC, and quit the mission. Then repeat for more paintings.
Bantha statues are given out by an NPC in Anchorhead (under the bridge near the moisture vaporators). I haven't done these missions yet, but a friend got over 20 of the statues, so it's not hard.
Loudspeakers, Shisas (decorative pots), Dark Jedi and Black Sun Medallions,and Holocron Splintersare all given out by Criminal NPCs. I findthem standing around the starport in Kaadara, Naboo (but there are other Criminal NPCs on the servers).
Nobles will give out items such as Decorate Bowls, Woven Baskets, Locked Briefcases, Engraved Pens, etc. Businessman NPCs will also give out some of these same items.

Help - I found the NPC you spoke of - he asked me to pick something up from an artist - I assumed it was the painting - it was a recording - so I gave that to him. I asked for another task and I was asked to pick up alien artifacts this time - which turned out to be dust. Hoping to finally get the task of the painting - he told me he would let me know if he needed anything else from me and I did not get another task. His name is oxil I think and he stands next to the entertainer trainer in the largest guild hall of 4 in Narmle.
Do you know what or if I did something wrong? I really wanted the painting. Maybe I shouldn't have given him the other items. I hope I didn't fix it so I can't get the painting quest now.
Any ideas or thought would be appreciated?
