I am working on becoming an architect. I have engineering 4 right now, and I was wondering why it is that everything I make is crap. For example I made a simple weapons crafting tool with high quality resources, and it said it was an amazing success. But the effectiveness was still a -13.54%.

So I was wondering, does the quality go up with repitition? Does quality improve when you use a private crafting machine?

And if not, how do I begin to make quality items?

wep crafting tools depend on artisan experimentation / assembly, and also a good CD metal. A private craft station will help you squeeze out that tad more. I've managed to get 12.84 out of my crafting tools, i think you can get alot more.

when you say 12.84, do you mean +12.84? Because my "AMAZING" sucess was a -13.5 as in Negative.

You *are* using a weapon, droid, general crafting tool, standing next to a weapon, droid, general crafting station, and *experimenting* the result, correct?

You might want to go to www.swgcraft.com and read up on some of their basic guides to crafting.

This is the same issue that I was having when I first started crafting. The key is to have a weapons/droid crafting tool and stand next to a weapon/droids crafting station (just make sure your crafting tool and crafting station types match). There are public crafting stations located in many cities. When you craft theitem, a menu will pop up asking if you want to experiment with the item.Expirementing with the item is what makes it better.
