Make personal harvesters or wind generators. Got to novice in no time, but I had materials on hand.

I think Jelly is telling you how to grind _from_ novice architect not _to_ it

Harvester or bone armour are the way to go, unless you get master artisan first (you will need master artisan items for architect) and thenmake vehicles

Oops! yes, my bad!

Depends on the resources you have available! Using a GCT, either grind out chemical survey devices (all metal) or for high XP, grind out harvestors, but they require, steel, copper and ore.

There's no "cheap" way to grind, since XP = 2*units (roughly), regardless of the type of item. So you'll need the same amount of resources regardless of the type of things you grind. If you have a lot of metal on hand, try trading it for some ore and copper, or mine yourself some.

PS: the time you save by crafting items with the highest resource requirement per unit can also be spent running missions to make money to buy more grinding material. You might even have more fun this way

Right -- I totally agree -- my only point was to address his desire to do this "cheaply," which is not possible, since you'll need the same total amount of resources regardless of what items you craft.

Grind out vehicles, they give tons of xp, but then again, you have to be master artisan
