Are any of the items you receive at Master Artisan required in schematics for Architect items? (items, as in sub-components)
If so is there a list of items that need a certain item at master artisan?

The easiest way to see this is to go to www.swgcraft.com, click on the left under "Schematics" "view tree". Choose Artisan, and then look at the list of Master Artisan items. If you click on one (e.g., "Power Conditioner") it shows you what it takes to make it AND a list of items that are built using it (in this case, architects use this for Power Core Units).
Since those Master Artisan items rarely are useful directly (except the bird cage
), you probably want to learn what they all contribute to, so you can make some factory runs and solicite business from Architects, Armorsmiths, Droid Engineers, etc.

yes. many componants cross over... i am a master artisan and master architect.. i need to make as an example, artisan control units for architect items a fair bit... but i also get some busines from a local wep smith that also uses control units....
i am also forever buying droid stroage modules from DE's for use in architect built crafting stations...
and so the list goes on

One interesting thing to note about droid storage modules..... they use artisan experiment points, not DE. As a master artisan/architect I took novice DE just for this reason and has worked great. This may be unintentional so it may be changed.

The energy distributor and the power conditioner are the Master Artisan items needed to make Power Core Units (of which Architects need for city stuff [city halls, etc] and large buildings -- large house and PA halls, I believe).

I ended up just purchasing crates of the conditioners and distributors, and made a power core unit schematic that I use whenever I need more core units.
