if you have a bunch of full storage backpacks, drop them in there 1 at a time and see what you get. Also look on the politician forums.

I just recently became mayor of my city. The previous mayor said he believed it was unlimited. I'll test it tonight and let you all know.

I'm also starting to think it is unlimited...figured since I was Mayor why decorate a house when I can decorate City Hall and not use up any lots. Also when you look at the building terminal (not the city terminal) the only option is to destroy the building. There is no status, etc. there.

Only the Mayor can place/move/remove items in the City Hall, and as per standard SWG rules you can have a maximum of 250 items in the City Hall.
The lack of a Status option on the building terminal is one of the items on the Politician to-do list.

250 for all civic structures (city hall and the cloner since you can't drop chairs outside on a shuttleport) You can have multiple cloners as long as the treasurey can cope with it so the mayor actually has a pretty good set of storage if ever needed. Basically it counters a PA hall's lot req so things aren't all that bad for PA leader mayors that craft or are pack rats.
One little thing to mention though, movement in a cloner is bugged so don't move the item you can only drop it and rotate it. Otherwise it warps into the clone tube. Makes decorating a bit of a pain, but similiar to the old days before /move got more accurate.
