Thread: Selling items on the bazaar with personal vendor???
I put the vendor in the house, and when i use it, it looks like a bazaar interface. It has options for vendor, region, planet, and galaxy, yet nothing shows up on those things aside from what i put in my own vendor, and no one else can see my items on the public bazaars.
Is this accurate? That items you put on your vendor are only accessible to other people who directly use your vendor?
Sounds ultra stupid to me if its true...
Anyone know anything about this???
I went into the merchant tree specifically to avoid the 3000 cred cap on the bazaar, only to find out that my listed items are completely isolated in my vendor.
I have made sales, and bought some stuff via my vendor, but only through word of mouth sales, and that just won't cut it as a serious means of income...
Items put on your vendor SHOULD appear on the bazaar, but it's currently bugged. The Devs are aware of the problem.
Vendors worked for several weeks in Beta, and they brought me a lot of traffic to my Homes and Furniture Store. It's not that important for me currently, because I'm working for a PA and providing items to them for free, but it would still be nice to bring a few miscellaneous customers and cash in with my vendor. I hope they fix this soon.
One thing you can do is put a few small items on the bazaar each day. In the description of the item, be sure to put your name and location of your store. This also brought me a lot of /tells and traffic to my shop in Beta.
Alright, I paged a CSR about this. According to him, vendors are now working as intended, and items are NOT supposed to show up on the bazaar any more.
Makes them semi useless I think, unless you are going up the merchant tree. Advertising is supposed to allow them to spam whenever someone walks by.
