Thread: Chests, Armoire and book case useless to u guys? other than for looks?
When i first started to build a house the first funishing i wanted was a bookcase, a chest, and/or an armoire but when i placed it in my house i find that the only thing its good for is for looks. what good is a chest if u cant put stuff in. What a waste in materials.
Does anyone know if these things can store stuff in the future? Is it worth it making my house look good?
Yes it is worth it to have a house.
I would like to know why the Dev did not simply take the coding for a backpack and slap the image of a bookcase, toolchest, cabinet and other pieces of furniture who's obvious purpose is to store items on it?
I hate having to line up backpacks and label them to store my minerals, chemicals,...ect.
I would much rather have working furniture!!!
I just thought of this, maybe it's the wrong thread but
HAHAHAHAHHA

We are paying for a Beta game. heah
Yes, furniture is useless. That being said, right now I'm going up the Furniture branch and I can't make the stuff fast enough to meet the demand. People are gobbling up furniture like crazy, probably because most Architects are too busy making houses and factories to make furniture. I'm only at Furniture II right now but EVERYONE wants to buy beds for their houses (which is difficult since beds need gobs of frickin' wooly hide). Nobody wants a bare-ass house, they look terrible. ![]()
My goal in this game is not to be a Jedi Knight, not to own a star cruiser and I'm not trying to become a master <anything>. My goal is to own a **edit** house! I want to play a game, just one game... where i can own a house within 2 weeks of playing. Is that so much to ask for? I think this game is the game. I'm harvesting like mad and selling my material to an architect. He keeps me busy and he's happy to have the resources. I think... I think by the end of this week I'll have my goal. Finally. Then I'll pick another one. Maybe I'll become a 2nd Master of something.
