I just hit medium houses and actually one on on the first try. So I head totown and try to sell my deed. After reading the boards and checking prices on here I choose 75k not expecting to get it but having some room to work with.

About 15 minutes into it I get a tell from a player who starts telling me my prices are too high, and how he got his meduim house for 27k and how a architect is gonna build his guild's PA hall for 70 k. So I try to explain to him the amount of resourses required to make houses. 15000k + resourses and im supposed to sell them for a little over a credit a resource. Then I get messages like how im screwing over the players and how no guild would pay 400-500k for a guild hall. A guild of 20 could easily afford 500k for a guild hall. 25k a person, money isnt that hard to come buy in this game if your just patient about it. It seems for every house i try to sell I always get one of those people who feel they need to tell me how to price my deeds. Its not that im greedy or trying to screw a anyone but I think I should be paid accordingly to what I make. The same way other crafters want to be paid for there work.

Ok im done rambling

In all honesty I believe that 75K is a bit much for a Medium House. I try to sell mine for 50k.

Whoever told you that there are getting a PA Hall for 70K needs to go have a bowel movement because he/she if full of it.

On the other hand I can think of one PA filled with powergamers Hell bent on removing any aspect of fun from this game based on Corellia/Chilastra that might do something like that.

/ignore people saying you are trying to screwothers over. If you can sell for that price, then more power too you. If like me, you find your local market dried up, you will eventially lower your prices to sell it. Hell I have to pay 1600 credits for a round trip ticket to collect my ore now that Corellia is dried up. People don't take into concideration the expenses incured in building houses.

Architects are screwed right now. Since nobody has any extra money laying around and with homes being a luxury not a necessity, the market is small. However that doesn't stop the fact that a lot of people are architects which in essence is killing the market. I'm starting to think that everyone that is an idiot choose architecture. Weaponsmiths, armorsmiths, droid engineers, and hell even tailors are making bank off of their products. They're making at least double the creds/unit resource then architects. People tell me that 15K for a small house is a ripoff even though it's just under 5 creds/unit, but nobody complains about spending 17K for a full suit of armor that took 1/10 the resources. Basically it's bull %&#!.

They should have a pay extra extra server I think. EQ has it..those that are really bent on taking all fun away, just pump em full of drugs on another server, let their brains fry.

I am on starsider making my home theed. I am having it worse than yall describe. with the price of resource on the bazarr it would cost 2500to make a small harvester.Every one sells them for 500cr.They are running around selling small houses for 1k.The only thing i can make and turn any profit is furniture and i am forced to still low ball all my prices because if the people selling houses and harvestors start selling furnture i'm screwed.i dont even make houses and harvesters i just buy them its cheaper.

I'll buy five PA halls if that tool wants to sell them for 70k each.

Anyway, I think 55-60k is a fair price for a medium house. If some shmuck gives you crap about your pricing, remind him how much he paid for his armor/gun and let him know how many resources it took the crafter to make. If that doesn't placate them, tell him to stick his blaster in his ear and send his brain on a trip to Endor.

I had another architect on my server ask how much I was charging for a House. I told him 17K, aprox 5 credits per resource unit. He told me that BS and said maybe a Medium House for that much. I pointed out that I was charging 5 credits per resource and if I had bought the raw materials off the bazar I'd have to charge over 35K just to make a profit because rarely does anyone put raw resource up for less than 10 credits per resource.

I had another person ask about a factory. I told him my price and he said he got a house for 5K and the same person would build a factory for 15K. Both those prices is barely enough to run your harvesters without using the current exploits with letting them burn down and not putting any power in them. And in cases where you have to travel offworld for resourcesyour actually paying your customer to build thier house or factory at those prices.
