Are there any Master Architects on Starsider that would build a PA Hall for free or cheap if we provided the resources. Also could give me a list of the resources needed for one? Including the resources need for the separate components.

TIO: The Imperial Order on Starsider has a Mon Cal Master Architect by the name of Wick. Send him a comm message and he can get in touch with you. Not sure how he sells his good, especially for the large orders but my dealings with him have always enjoyable.

Ok, So you want an Architect to spend their free time on your PA for FREE? How about while he/she is doing that, your whole guild does some missions for FREE for the architect? That would probably be quite a sum of credits!!

Why, in the hell, would you expect other players - who are not in your guild - who will not benefit in any way from this - to either do it for free or "cheap" instead of taking a normal profit just as any other player in the game would. It takes forever to get to Master- and having done houses cheaply to raise xp for all that time - they should atleast be able to make a profit on the pinnacle of their success!!

Surely a guild large enough to support a PA could come up with SOMETHING for the payment!!!

Alkeistarte, he meant free of additional cost or at reduced cost if his people supplied the Architect with the resources needed.

I've met a number of Architectsin release that will put somthing together for free if they are supplied with the resources. This is an old practice, even in beta.You supply the stuff needed and get the results, the Architect get's the XP and word of mouth business as a result.

Since a master Architect doesn't need the XP they will frequently build at a reduced cost if the resources are supplied and you ask nicely. 250K-500K is the price most will charge if they have to use their own resources.

And lastly Alkeistarte, these boards are here for everyone to use, not just the informed. If someone doesn't know, then you can supply the info when the question is asked. A hostile response just spreads bad feelings to everyone that reads the threads.

I know quite well what the boards are used for and this person is not 'uninformed'. He is simply asking for a Master Architect to once again not make any profit. It's bad enough that every, single, solitary person is wanting reduced costs on any profit for houses but when you get to Master- it should stop.

Yes, it's a common practice to do things for free if they provide resources- as you are gaining experience! Not once you hit Master unless the person is a friend perhaps. Even then my customers typically don't WANT me to get 'gimped' on earning a profit - and often provide me with items in return as well.

Not every post is going to be a 'feel good' post. I am almost Master, I have like 50k left and I have been doing things for free or at cost forever now. I just wish people would respect what it takes to become a master and respect their right to make something as a profit.

If you are almost a Master, and have heard people complaining about "9k for a house is too much - other sell it for 5k" and "30k for a Factory is too much, I can get a Guild PA for that much" eventually it just wears on you and wears on you.

I wish to god they would allow houses on the Auction system so we wouldn't have to put up with the nonsense of not making a profit.

Once I get master I am reverting to selling ore because atleast there you can make a profit.

I am almost to Master architect as well. I have beenmaking houses for the resources and even for Admin on empty lots to get the exp needed. always broke all the time. Once I become a Master Architect my drive to make it for the resources to gain exp will be gone forever. Although I will still be making them in that manner for the friends I have met in Nashal, Talus for the life of my Character.

Briggsnar, Tom, Degoth, Verushka, Deke, Aus'tin, (many more but I forget names since I am not in-game) Sorry to those I forgot. I won';t in game my friends list save me from that. hehe

As for others I will be selling my wares on my vendors (Going for master merchant as well) at fair market value or slightly higher since I offer High quality goods.

For you PA's out there needing a Master Architect I suggest befriending one such as myself. Offering to collect all the resources required and do PA business soley withthem in the future as thanks.

FYI - PA Halls are a buggar to build, even if someone supplies all the resources, you still have to make identical products to combine. Supplying the resources is the easiest part of building it really.

my current going rate on a PA hall for someone who provides the resources is as follows

bring 160k ore one type stackable for factory use and 50k cash

I'll swap in any other resources needed (ie steel alum copper gas gems) for a 1 to 1 on the ore you brought. I'm also asking 160k instead of 137k b/c of critical failures which happen on a 20% ratio i hear. It will also protect you from a crtical on the Hall itself not just the componets. Please Tell me when you have the required items as I'm in tell hell as you can imagine being the only Master (that I know off) on SS. If you want to MAKE and BRING all the componets together and have me do one nice little combine i'll do that for 40k cash (you are responsible on critical's though) I perfer the first method but it's up to you... If you think 160k ore or 50k cash is alot you are crazy. if you have a small 10 person guild you can get that in 4 days if you jsut set up sampling macros. 50k cash is 5 k each which any one should be able to get in a few hours if they wanted... So please don't rant/flame me for my costs or my method of payment.

ps i'll build it if you bring the 160k and then we can do the cash when i'm done making it
