Curious as to the purpose of these guys? Went through the hassle of finding someone with a equipment factory to produce the GP and Memory modules for me. These have like a 35 complexity so I assumed would be the faction Mission Terminals I have been hearing about.

Well made one dropped it in house ... has same ole furniture options. This one is from the furniture 3 line .. training 4 tonight soo dunno what the purpose is.

On a side note I have no faction points at all if that is what is stopping me from using it.

Thank you in advance

I read somewhere that the terminal currently has no purpose, but theoretically could later.

I'm wondering the same thing abou tthe Droid Detector. It's an ugly bulky looking thing, but does it actually detect droids? I haven't built one to find out.

Furniture serves no purpose.Theyare for visuals only:

Desk cannot have things put on them.

Cabinets/chests etc cannot have anything put in them.

Beds cannot be laid upon.

Droid detection devices do not detect droids.

Lights cannot be turned on.

Although I have not placed one yet, I have read that data terminals serve no purpose, as with Ballot Boxes.

BUT you can sit on chairs!

I also read that faction terminals are acquired by converting your faction points with an NPC of the correct faction, but as I seem to be getting about 3 faction points per mission, it will take me a LONG time to test this out.

Well, ballot boxes are certainly designed to have applicability when player cities are implemented. Seems obvious to me anyway.

The Data Terminal available at Furniture 3 is a hunk of junk and doesn't do a thing but sit there and take up space. I don't think I'm even going to bother making the one in Furniture 4, because I would be willing to bet it is the same.

I have not placed a Droid Detection Device, so I'm not sure if it actually does anything or not, but I have placed a Ballot Box. Imagine my suprise when I saw a 'Use Bank' option on it! *click* Nothing. Started a test vote, voted, closed the vote and was sent an email with the results. Cleared the vote log, and tried to pick up the Ballot Box, only to find that it has no option for that. Then tried to target the item and type /pickup, only to get a message that I do not have permission to access that container. So now I have a Ballot Box stuck in the middle of the floor in my house.

I did start a new vote on it though.

Title: Does this Ballot Box suck?

1. Yes.
2. Yes.
3. Yes.

Got an email a little bit ago with the results. 75% said Yes, and the other 25% said Yes. ;-)

would certainly be a nice option to use chests and cabinets to store items u dont want cluttering up the floor. Why this hasn't been implemented i dont know. Also really wish they would fix the admin rights for houses, suck having to keep a small house to store my stuff in cuz i cannot drop them in the Med Naboo house i share. (med is a much better house then the large imo)

Maybe this is all coming in a future update one can only hope.
