Well...i finally started playing the way Hollowclown wants me too....

I just spent 300K on metal and "practice built" crafting stations...only took 3 hours..

And what did i get for my efforts

• Deeds for PA Halls....well sorry but i really dont care about building them...i will probabbly only do them for special order and only see myself building 2-3 if i spend a few years in game...not really worth my effort grinding to master///they may make me some cash but not really a steady income as demand is super weak

• a few sticks of plain white squares they call furniture...well sorry, that furniture is not that attractive and doesnt seem to have any appeal...they all call for different obscure resouces...why would the table and end table or sofa and loveseat call for different resources....anyway, not going to makle any money of these plain things...the faction furniture is 10X better...not really a money maker here either

Compared to some of the other professions, the MA's get the short end of the stick....i would really like some additional items to craft or otherwise getting master is just pointless

I am going to trade back my points on master and the entire useless construction tree and use them for some fun profession

My suggestion to anyone who isnt a master yet is not to bother...just get buildings or furniture or installations and leave the PA Hall deeds to people who love gathering 1000s and 1000s of resources...you will make more cash of Tier 3 skills anyway

the PAs are going to form all the towns and their architect will build all that stuff...you know the ones who built all the PA Halls and ruined the markets before most of us could build anything....most of us will never get inviolved in any of that...

those skills will be wasted just like being master architect

also...unless they give us more skill points, there is no way anyone is going to get far in Urban Planner...

do you think Urban Planner willl be worth not being able to do anything else?

This HAS to be the ONE class that isn't broke....except for the one mechanism that won't load thus not allowing us to make 2 deeds.

Other than that I have to say that we are more complete and less of a joke than virtually every other class in the game.

Look closer. It is more then two deeds that cannot be built.

I have orders from a large number of miners who need a lot of these buildings.

...did I just see that nothing aside from the harvester mechanism is broken? What profession are YOU playing?

And I'm amused by the comment that there's no demand for PA Halls. Maybe it's on a server where there aren't as many powerful players as Eclipse, because there's a HUGE demand for them. If I felt like going through the stress of making another one, I'd easily be able to sell it for 400k. And if you're resourcefully cunning with the master architect furniture, you'll be raking in the dough. Trust me.

I could not agree more ... other than those two deeds, which I have had very few requests for, at least our profession works. I feel sorry for those that are practicly worthless ... DE's come to mind. I'm glad I decided not to take that up.

What do I spend this on?

I spent the day hunting down carbonate ore greater than 19% and copper on other planets only to find out copper shifted back to my planet, collected ore, made a large harvester or two, ... and here I sit, reading these forums <alt-tabbed from the game> putting in keywords into google like "fun things to do in starwars galaxies" "cool things to do" "fun things to buy".....

Now what?

I think there will be a high demand for Urban Planners because not all player cities will be PA-based. These cities will need the freelancer planner to do their building, and probably pay a premium price for it (hopefully collected through taxes). Also, I imagine that not every PA architect will go to the elite-elite profession and sacrifice skills they have worked hard to get already. Some PA's will be without a planner, and thus another job for the freelancer. Who knows, you may find a community that you like and will move in.

Jezebelle, you must do a lot of reading and no replying if this is only your third post. Put your input and questions into the boards, and I bet you'll find a lot of fun, new things to do in the game--and to spend your money on.
