Any kind of pack will work good. They can be renamed while in your inventory and when droped hang in mid air.

Cool, good idea! But yeah, I think there should be a hanging sign that can go up inside buildings. Maybe a limit of one per building, but it would nice. You can only put so much on your house sign before it becomes too long to read...

Is there something that can be placed inside a house to list say business hours, specials, notices, and other pieces of information that can be easily changed by the owner and viewed by visitors. My game play hours are irregular and I'd like to be able to let my in game customers know when/if I can be online to fill orders.

It would also be nice to be able to use(let's call it a message pad)to list resources that I am buying (and at what prices) as well as my current orders backlog.

I recall with fondness the flexibility of books in UO. They were so useful for so many things.
