Thread: Does Master Artisan Help Out Architect?
I'd suggest getting Master Artisan, so you don't have to depend on anyone else for Control Unites, etc.

It's not as bad now as it used to be to find those components. It used to take me days to find someone to make me the factory-produced Power Conditioners and Energy Distributors needed for a PA Hall. Now I have someone in my own (relatively small) guild who can make them no problem, and there's at least one person on every planet willing to do that job.
Of course, if you don't want to be forced to pay them, it's completely necessary to pick up Master Artisan.
Just wondering, I only got Business 4 and DA 4 to go to MA just wondering if its worth it.
Depends on how much you want to rely on another player to make things for you. Some furnature items, such as Data Terminals, Torches and a few others require Master Artisan made materials. As the advanced crafting stations and other items.
Personally have a pure crafter, and he is Master Artisan/Master Architect/Master Tailor ... the rest is used up in Merchant.
If you make it to master architech, getting master artisan isnt that hard. You just need factory exp to get you there without much of a grind. What you can do is get master artisan, make schematics, build a few 100 of each component and have some schematics in reserve. You can then unlearn master artisan and the domestics or what have you. You'll have all the parts you ever need and the skill points back.
So basically go master artisan, least for a little while.
