Thread: How do i hang painting on wall

I got a paiting from a npc and want to display it on the wall, all i can get it to do is sit at the bottom. i need to know how to move it up the wall

currently there is no z-axis command to move items in a house


The only way to elevate a painting onto a wall, or say a desk lamp onto a desk is if you are in a house with stairs. Place your object on the elevated location wherever it is in the room, and /movefurniture (forward/back) (amount) until you get it where you want it


it requires some patience, especially if youve never done it before, but it gets easier

wow thx for telling me about the slash command for moving stuff i was using the re\adial menu and it was REALLY starting to piss me off

there is also /rotatefurniture (left/right) (degrees)

the NPC (that i know of) that gives out paintings is Jaleela Bindoo, found on Narmle, Rori @ -5212 -2470


I think i remember the process being you start the quest but dont finish it, at some point you get a painting to deliver....just dont deliver it and keep it for yourself

Does aborting the mission delete the painting? Used to in Beta.

to be honest i dont know, wasnt in beta


what i do know is that the quest did not complete and i have a painting hanging on my wall
