Thread: Info needed to evaluate real estate for a PA hall
My current house is in a very highly built area, but between myself and a couple neighbors - our houses and our factories around the area could possibly clear enough land to build a PA hall. We mightbe interested in combining resources to move to a PA hall, but we really wantto stay in the same area. What we need to do before we packup our dozen vendors and hundreds upon hundreds of items that are in these structures, is to determine whether or not its even possible for us to place a PA hall in the spot we are currently on. Its right along a city no-build line, and there is water nearby also limiting the available land.
Is there information available about how much land a PA hall takes (it would be a Naboo one) and how to measure that out? ie. use a personal harvester in the overhead view to count land blocks or something.
Any information that you could share would be helpful, thanks much!
PS. This reminds me of my UO days trying to buy land and figure out if I could put down a tower or a large house. I'd spend 100k gold buying out my neighbor only to find there was a little mushroom in the middle that prevented me from putting down a bigger house ![]()
I don't think that will exactly work. A heavy mineral harvestor only takes up 1 lot, but has a much larger footprint than a personal extractor. I don't think there is a standard 1 lot = Xmeters of space.
What might work is to go find a placed PA hall. Try and place a personal extractor and measure the number of extractor footprints thatfit in over the hall?
Here is how i tested if moving my structure factory would give me enuf room for a PA:
I found a PA and tried to 'build' a personal harvester. I counted the squares across and then counted the squares back.. i think it was like 7x8 personal harvesters but you better double check
Then i went to my structure factory and checked al the land that i would be covered that wasnt already covered by my factory (my factory was already placed on buildable land).. if the harvester turns green in every square you would need to use that isnt already covered by one of your buildings, then it should be good to place there.
