Thread: Point of view from non-architect
Hi guys,
Was browsing your boards and noticed one or two disgruntled builders. I am a doctor/bunch of other things and tend to buy a fair number of machines/bildings. Always expanding and getting bigger items. Two things would make my life a bit easier. Does anyone know of a place where I can check out the stats on things before I buy, so I dont annoy the Archs with questions you guys probably get 10x a day. It would be good to find out how many items a certain building will hold, maintenance, lot usage, etc. Also, how certain machines work, like the fusion thingy. I know you guys see these items day in and out, but most players have no clue until they buy it. I was quite suprised to find out that a large house takes up 5 lots. Tricky when I need several machines and factories.
As far as pricing goes, i will say, I try now to sell resources for a reasonable rate, dependant on quality. ANy rule of thumb for this? When I ask for a quote, I don't haggle. I expect the quote to be based on whatever is happening at the time. However, that said, it is sad when you purchase someting only to find out that some yahoo is selling it for half. I wish there was a Architect Guild type of thing, where you could go and see what was there and what prices were. I have no problem paying for what an item is worth.
My pricing averages out to about 25% over whatever current market value of resources is at that time (3 CPU as of now).
I have all of my pricing (I'm on Chilastra) at www.ratwhackers.com
There is also other information like Lot useage, power consumption, pics, mant costs and that sort of thing as well. I don't have what resources each harvester pulls up. WIth exception of fusion that's a given.
