I keep hearing about extraction rates of 7, 8, 9, etc. and I am wondering how that translates into numbers I can better understand, such as units per hour. Maintience and power are already in this format and I want to be able to predict my yields vs. cost.

Think of that number in more sensical terms as "units per minute". When you buy a 13 KGH max rate heavy mineral harvester, and drop it down on an 80% vein, it's going tobe pulling up 10.4 KGH actual rate. (13 x 80% = 10.4).

Now, that 10.4 can be read as "10.4 units per minute". That 10.4 x 60 (minutes in an hour) x 24 (hours in a day) gives you 14,976 units a day.

So, easily - just read "KGH" as "units per minute".
