Greetings everyone,

when I open my structure crafting tool I get NO schematics for cantinas, theatres or med centers. I am 0423 architect. According to my architect overview I should be able to craft those structures. I can craft banks, fountains, statues etc.

Can YOU access those schematics ? Can YOU craft those structures ? Are the requirements changed in relation to the test center schematics ?

Can a Master Musician/Doctor already place those ? Or do we have to wait until the politian gains the rank to allow the placing of those structures ?

hmm, try standing next to a private crafting station, then look again.

I forgot what the tree looks like, but you need to use a crafting station, probably a private one. But all of the new city stuff are put in the Construction tree and Master Architect. They are craftable as I've seen them in my structure crafting tool.

Yes, you need to stand next to a private crafting station.

Yes, to place the the Cantina/Hospital you need two things : A Docotr/Entertainer of sufficient skill *and* a Politician of the sufficient skill to grant them the zoning rights to place it. You also need a city of a certain citizenship, with the space and structure limit slots available.

BTW - if you *aren't* standing near a private crafting station, but still want to look at a schematic, just open up your datapad and select the Draft Schematics tab. Every single schematic that you are entitled to use is always in there, independent of the crafting station availability.

I realized that I just needed my crafting station shortly after I posted this question and it was like "Silly me ! Think first before asking !" ...

However ... thanks for the information... more than I asked for and very welcome it is. The list of draft schematics is good.

So no one has placed a cantina or med center yet. I build the cantina today and have the Master musician to place it. Politician will be online soon .. but it wont be placed, as no politician yet has the level to allow the placement of a cantina ... understood.

I would still try - I've seen info that a politician needs civic 3 before they can grant the specific commerical zoning rights, but I think they changed the tree - because the one on live doesn't show that. I have my cantina ready, and once we've grown to city size 2, we're going to try to place... heh - doesn't hurt to at least try.
