i just want everyones opinion on being able to put furiture on the lot that you own.

I highly doubt we'll see this anytime soon. When you enter a house, do you notice how long it takes to load up the items in the house? That data has to all be loaded if it's not already, and then sent to the client. If it had to send the information for the items that are placed outside all of the houses that are within your visible range, the lag would be intolerable.

I don't think the footprint of any of the houses would really suport lawn decor. Howewever balconies would be nice, maybe front porches too.

My opinion? We should be able to do this. It would be sooo great! Really, all I'd want are some streetlamps around my shop.

But... I agree that it isn't very feasible. Not unless they find a better way to make areas load/unload. Personally, I think they should have a /permenant option that you can use on outdoor structures only that make them semi-permenant. If they set it so that once you used that command, that particular structure automatically loaded on clients as soon as they were in the server boundary.... but the flip side would have to be that when you go to remove it, you have to wait a week after putting in the request (or something like this). So of course, that command is not to be used lightly. But as it stands, you can already do things ALMOST like this with player cities... but we'll see.

would love to be able to put furniture on my balcony or my porch. there is plenty of room there for something

And some new schematics for hammocks, deck chairs and beach umbrellas (like the ones on the beach at Kaadara on Naboo). Now that would be sweet.

And then if only we could have BBQ's where Chefs could cook Bantha Steaks "Mmmmm, Bantha Steaks"

hey ladyleala if you wnat streetlamps by your shop you have to ask your mayor to place them there. I had my mayor do it and it looks great
