Hey guys, I made a post about this earlier in one of the other threads, and wanted to bring it up to all of your attention.

Many of us are saying that no one is buying harvestors anymore, the arcitect profession is slowly dying as many people only need to buy buildings once... I propose these4 Ideas *no matter how radical they may sound*

1. Remove the option to have buildings redeedable- I propose this idea mainly because it isnt logical, that you can place a large house down, realize that you want to relocate to another area, and just pay a mere 3000 credits to have it redeeded. In all honesty does it make sense that an extremly large PA hall gets placed down and still have the option to move it? Now in understanding that the idea proposed will most likely never be implemented, I have another less drastic idea along these lines. Implement a protocol that causes each successive redeed to a building, an increase in the price of redeeding. So that the first redeed costs 10,000 credits, the next one cost's 20,000 credits, and so on, this would make it so that after a while it is less costly to buy a new building rather than redeeding the old one.

2. Make Buildings Attackable- Now this idea is a little different, make it so that only City Structures, such as shuttleports, PA halls, Cantinas, Hospitals, and such can be destroyed... BUT ONLY WHEN GUILDS ARE OFFICIALLYAT WAR WITH ONE ANOTHER, and also that the only the guilds at war are the ones able to destroy city structures. This makes it so that a person's home isnt the one destroyed by this. Now obviously there is then the argument that then no PA will be willing to place, rare and valuable resources within their halls, for fear of having them destroyed and lost. For this case, make a time frame, say three days, in which the administrators of the building, have in which to move all the items before the building is completly destroyed, that way the precious items are not lost.

3. Implement building decay- make it so that there is a slow building of maitinence cost over a period of time, right now on a small house you pay a flat rate of 16 units per hour this is almost nothing... in one bounty hunter mission I make 20k thats enough to keep the house good for over 50 days... make it so that slowly but surely there is an increase that way people come back to us to buy houses...

4. Give us Schematics for the GCW- Right now, there is really no place for a pure crafter in the GCW. However, if you were to make it so that Architects were the ones to actually craft a deed of a forward outpost, or an HQ, it would give us a place...

Anyways, thanks to all who read this, and please place your ideas, thoughts below thanks... and for flames... please go elsewhere... only constructive critisism..

i like the idea that buildings can be destroyed when at war with another guild. But this will probably never happen Also i like the decay. Currently we are the only crafting profession (that I can think of) that doesn't have a renewable income except people upgrading their harvesters which doesnt happen that much. The one that talks about now being able to redeed buildings sounds good. I agree that it is stupid that you can move houses and guild halls like this. the only things that should be able to be moved are furiture and harvesters. I dont remember seeing someone move an entire home or building.
