Thread: Station Input Adds To House Totals

Hello;

Tried to sneak this question into another thread but seems to have been ignored.

I have some 15-18% craft stations and also some 40%. The 40's do not seem to add to house storage totals when items are placed in the Input Hopper, but the lesser ones do ??

Is there something that the Archy needs to do to make this so ? OR are the better ones just better ??

Is it adding Storage Modules or something ?? Just Lucky ??

Happy with mine, but would like to know what the next guy who makes one for me needs to do.

according to Alakhazam:

In addition to being able to craft as you normally would but with access to any additional high-level schematics you might have, you will have an 'input hopper' option added to the pop-up menu for your specialized crafting tool. This gives you the ability to store resources during the crafting process, click the 'input hopper' tab on the left side of the item assembly screen. This will allow you to use the resources and components stored in that crafting station's input hopper to fulfill ingredient slot requirements the same as you'd use ingredients located in your own inventory.

It makes logical sense to me that for this you will need to have the optional item Droid storage compartment, so this is most likely what you need to ask for next time.

I missed something. Did they revert to the input hopper not counting to house inventory?

I remember it used to. Stunk that I couldn't leave my resources in my input hopper cuz it DID count towards house inventory but this person is saying it doesnt. Is this true???

And yes you need to have a crafting station with the optional droid storage compartment (total of 5 of them) to have the option to use an input hopper.

Get you a DE and some outstanding metal and have him make you a 99% eff schematic set to 1k and you can craft them whenever you wish. In the effectiviness it's my experience the quality of the modules does count. I"ve used cruddy ones and gotten lesser numbers. All mine now are 99% (or better if possible) and there's a difference.

It does it off and on for my architect and doctor characters. One day they will count on the number of items in house and other days they won't. The lack of any clear answer on this issue is quite frustrating to say the least.

No you don't! Even the lamest crafting stations (crafted with no optional components at all) have an input hopper.

Yes they all have - but only the higher end ones I own DO NOT add to house. Think the answer was up there as the Optional Addition.

Will be sure and deal with someone who has used them in the future. Hell, I'll even GIVE them to use, heh.

It does add to the house total. That's why you ask for admin status for the guild hall and offer to furnish it with your own crafting stations.

Ive been interested by this myself lately, my 44+ station still add to house totals when i add resources to the hoppers. Anyone know if this will stay like this?
