Hi i have a few questions before i start working on my next big project for our city of New Destiny , Naboo on Ahazi.

First do garden's require lots to place?

Second is it possible to place these structures out of the city range?

Heres my project:

I want to make a tera kasis temple with two gardens for meditating, i looked at the pics of the various gardens available to be placed on naboo and ill need a few types of gardens to make it look like i want , how i see it is like walking down a pathway to get to the meditative area, this garden would be between 2 houses, its my big project but my mayor is with me and also our city architech.

I just need to plan out the details before we start placing the items, and i thoguht coming ehre would be the best first step in starting this project.

Gardens take no player lots, only city lots and they must be placed within city borders.

You also must be mayor to place them

Along with consuming no lots, and requiring a mayor to place them, gardens also increase the cities maintenance rate. The larger the garden, the more the cost. Not as much as a shuttle, but they do cost a bit, and with enough of them, can add up. Also, city size/mayor skill impacts what size garden can be placed.

Since not everyone can have a city, and some people are well established and dont want to move to a city, i wish there were some deco items we could have too =(

City decor can be placed only by the Mayor. The mayor must also have the appropriate level of City Customization skill. Decorationsdon't takelots but you can only place 10 x the city level (example a level 4 city can have 40 decorations) The maintenence roughly works out to about 1600 credits per week per decoration.
