No, I wouldn't not buy them pre made and crated.

I seldom buy anything that I can't make myself but it's not to say others won't or their isn't a market out there. Hell, it's like IRL, find a service and fill it.

I've even sold crates for 60k-75k(12-15k each) and occasionally, I have buyers requesting PCUs.

Although I findPCU (Power Core Units) a pain in the butt only because you have to do3 factory runs and do a factory runof the 3 subcomponents (generator turbines, Power Conditioners and Energy Distributers), they are mainly used in Large Houses and Guild Halls. So, unless you dishing out tons of Large houses and PA's, you'renot really gonna needall that many.

I learned by mistake, not to make too small runs (of the subcomponets). It's best, when you do make a run, you make a very large run. I make very large runs of Generator Turbines, PCUs, OMUs and Manufactureing Mechanisms and a few others.....between the breaks of the walls and structural mods...

I would buy1 premade crate. I only use power cores once in a great while. So I don't really want to bother doing a run myself. But I'd literally only buy one and then that would be it.

I think that Droid engineers also use them for one of the droids.

I should justify my answer a little. I never bothered to finish Master Artisan, so the power conditioners, and other gobbeldy goop isn't available for me to craft myself. I can also avoid having to waste a lot on an equipment factory to run the artisan components. So in the long run, its better for me to buy them. Same with Synthetic cloth, and even the occaional few crates of Electronic GP modules.

I agree with the other posters. I might ocassionally buy PCUs in crates, but only 1 or 2 crates at time. I just don't make that many Large Houses, Guild Halls, and City Buildings.

But you should check with Droid Engineers on your server, as PCUs are used in the Power Droids. And the selling points for Power Droidsis the ability to recharge other droids. This is important in our city, because we have a Macro Buff House and the Doctor uses a Droid to enhance the buffs. Players with a Power Droid can recharge the droid and get an extra 200 points on their buffs.
