Custom Wallpaper/ Carpeting


Give us two tools, obtained at furniture 4. A 'Wallpaper Replacement Tool', and a 'Carpet Replacement Tool'. Anyone can use them. But here is the twist. In order to use them, they must obtain a 'Roll of Wallpaper' or a 'Roll of Carpeting' from an architect. The wallpaper could be the current Naboo walls, the current Naboo walls recolored, and Im sure the devs could come up with more. As for carpets / floors, thedevs could use the tile seen on Tatooine City Hall front steps, Naboo flooring, Sean Trenwell's Rug, 'Orange Rug', 'Blue Rug', and the other 8 rugs that exist but cannot be obtained.


New Furniture


Many pieces of furniture and items that are non-createable and non-obtainable. We would love to be able to make these. Among them,the small curved-glass tables, both types of cantina tables, cantina chairs and couches, bars / counters, more than8 rugs, and much more. Let us make this or at least give an obtainable schematic.

Commerical Structures


We also need commerial structures. Many of the houses dont work as stores very well. Plus, it would be good for many professions. Craftsman could have better and even industry specific stores, politicians could better plan commercial districs, merchants could have choices aside from a cowhide tent,and customers wouldnt wonder aimlessly through settlements looking for stuff to buy, since stores could be more identifiable and they could even differentiate what goods where being sold. Also, individualsigns like those for medical centers and cantinas would be nice. Mall structures would also be welcomed, with several individual stalls and counters built into the structure.


Faction Structures


Faction Structures need to be made by architects. People who want one should buy a schematic from personel of their faction, then bring it to an architect to have it made. You should not be able to make a factory schematic from it.



New Structure Styles


New styles of home for adventure worlds might be interesting, open to style suggestions. For instance, Naboo, Generic / Corellia, Tatooine, Naboo 2, Corellia 2, et cetra.


New Floorplans for City Buildings


Different floorplans for Medical Centers, City Halls, and Cantinas especially would be wonderful. Player Cantinas appear to be nothing like NPC ones, and more similar designs would bed welcome. Also, the option to have Double-Garages like NPC ones would be excellent.

Doors


Let us lock doors! Also, give us an option to have them stay shut and be button-operated.


Lightswitches


Is it at all possible for the Dev's to put an option on the radial menu for houses so that we can turn OFF the lights inside the house? I've tried covering up the lights, but unlike all other lights the ones in houses ignore all realistic lighting and shine right through anything/everything.

Interior Decor

-Dont care but I am sure we will get more and more stuff so i am not worried as this seems to be the only place the devs are giving us more and more every patch.


Schematics / New Structures

-Additional house designs. I mean even the most limited housing development has 4 different house plans per price scale. SOE should release a new house style ever month for the next 12 months. and not save em up for all at once.

-Farm. yes this is basicly a harvester for meat or dairly or hide. very low yield, but there is no logic in the world to explain why it wouldnt work. might need to have a scout skill to place one.

-Different looking civic structures. Purely asthetic. however player city theaters need some real work in general. they are totally useless.

-Parks. FIX THEM if a park has a park bench make it so I can sit on it. if a park has a wall make it so I cant run thru it. Same with fountains. Make them solid. also more designs would be cool.

-Warehouse. a building specificly for storage that registers everything in it. so that if some stupid glitch happens there is proof of it existance. Make the storage high, and the maintenance prices even higher.

-Arenas or at lease independent bleacher sections that can be placed to create an arena or used in lines to make a ampetheatre or line a race track etc...

-Observation tower. a single tower with no combat ability that allows you a birds eye view of your city. make it high enough that no one can fire a weapon or shoot a poison from up there.

-Plaza/Street

-Monument. Anything that can basicly be like a stature but can have an inscription included to comemerate ann event a person or a place.

-More statues

-larger lighting areas for streetlights

-Storefronts. anything but a tent. something with a nice ctorefront window or something. I doubt every vendor uses a tent in the civilized planets.

How about a Manufacturing Plant:

- has multiple ingredient hoppers each of which can take it's own schematic (perhaps the number of input hoppers is dependant upon number of components used when making the plant, or perhaps it should be an experiment line?), these would be used to make sub-components.

- Has a 'Final Combine' hopper, in which the components made earlier in the process are combined with the resources needed for the final combine to make the finished item.

- when making the plant it should be possible to experiment for efficiency, i.e. faster production.

- and for hopper size


As you can see the idea would be to have a one step production line going from raw resources through to final product rather than producing each sub component individually through a factory run and then gathering these all together to put through a factory for the final combine. A massive time saver for crafters, especially Architects
