There is a new site www.swg-resources.com that is being made for searching resources for specific professions.
EDIT (28-Jan-05)
Architect Added to Resource Search
Architect has been added to the professions in the Profession Search for resources. The list now stands at
- Architect
- Armorsmith
- Bio-Engineer
- Chef
- Combat Medic
- Doctor
- Droid Engineer
- Weaponsmith
EDIT (13-Jan-05)
New Resources Table
SWG-Resources.com home page has been upgraded to show the newly found resources on your server/galaxy. The server is picked up from up the server you select in the resosurce source on the Resources page. This is useful for regular visitors as it shows them instantly what's new.
Droid Engineer Added to Resource Search
Droid Egineer has been added to the professions in the Profession Search for resources.
New Guild Forum
SW-Resources is now providing a free Guild Forum for all SWG Guilds. The forum can be public or private depending on your requirements. See the Guild Forums area on SWG-Resources.com for details.
New Search Available
We have upgraded swg-resources.com with a new search. In addition to the profession search for resources you can now search for any one resource (on the resource tree) on any server. This give you the ability to search for higher level definitions eg "organics" or "metal" and not just the individual resource.
The search has powerful filter functions so you can optionally filter by planet or resource attribute, as well as select a sort sequence based on the resource attribute.
Visit our site at www.swg-resources.com and check it out. 1000's of users are using our site to find the resource that best suits thier needs.

Nice site............ However !!!!!
The site is linked to swg craft.com for information.
Although swg craft has been a god send to crafters.........
And I dont know if other severs are experianceing this but due to the lack of players ....the information has become very un-reliable !!! At least for the Wanderhome Sever.
EX: new spawn listing of copper with CD1000 Two days on site and it died.
EX: new spawn listinf of tationie fiberblast OQ 973 One day on site and it died.
I was hopeing this was a new site for information that might be more reliable

Cool site but the Chef doesnt work as of 4:07pmEST 1-28-05
I get
Server Error in '/' Application.
Runtime ErrorDescription: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

Funny - I thought that swgcraft.com (and all of the people contributing to that site) keeps me informed of the latest spawnings of all resources.

The fact that swgcraft.com looks basically abandoned by the person(s) operating/hosting it (last news posted exactly one year ago, skilltrees completly outdated and an entire crafting profession not even mentioned as the most obvious points) was the reason for me to no longer update anything there (I used to do this for huntable ressources), I don't feel like adding data to something that might disappear any day as those running it quite obviously do no longer care. However, swg-ressources also doesn't exactly look like it is maintained overly active (as it does not reflect the curb-related changes to some professions, or did I miss something and doctors craft stuff again
?).

When I look at the "current resources" section of www.swgcraft.com, particularly for the highly populated planets and the common types of resources, I've *always* found that it is up to date. Perhaps it is different for other galaxies.
Putting that aside for a minute, notice that www.swg-resources.com gets its data *from* www.swgcraft.com - it says that right on the banner. So, if you are disenchanted with the quality and timing of the data on swgcraft.com, swg-resources does nothing to improve that.
I'm not putting swg-resources down at all - it can provide a value-added service on top of raw data. I'm just pointing out that it is only as good as the data that *we* feed into swgcraft.com.

The admin for SWGcraft posted June 3 saying he's been busy in RL and that he's planning on updating the schematics soon. Even if he's not real active in updating the site, the database itself is player driven and the sites success is pretty high so its not likely it would disappear overnight. Of course nobody can guarantee anything forever but that is true for any fan site.
