Thread: Petition Dev Response in regards to resource properties/tool quality affecting assembly.
Do Resource properties and Tool Qualities reduce the chance of a critical failure and or experimentation.
Inquiring minds want to know.
My experience tells me that...
Resource properties affects a (final) assembly a great deal. (Unit Toughness/Decay Resistance for architects)
and
High Tool Quality helps experimentation.
Yet there are some people who flat deny this saying neither mean anything and are convinced that they can constantly make stuff with crappy resources and crappy tools and not crit fail less than somebody who uses good stuff.
Im not really looking for a debate on this since we know most people are divided on the issue. I just want alot of people to sign so we can possibly get a dev response on this issue.
I can make the best pile of crap you ever seen with the crappiest stuff you bring me, time and time again.
I tested this the other day actually, with the absolute WORST tools I could find. Same results and random outcomes as when I use my +13 tools, out of about 25-35 combines.
I see no difference whatsoever, and its totally bogus. (Along with the other 976 items in this game.)
I would like an answer too.
Only 2 people are interested in the answer to this question? After so many people have posted about it?
truth be told. i have found NO positive benefit from using a crafting station other than needing to use it to create certain things.
in fact. i almost never ue a craftign station, but when i do, i seem to fail MORE than i normally do and i have a +12 crafting station.
Maybe people realize the topic has been beat to death and they know that "petitions" have no effect whatsoever on what the devs say or do. Signing a bunch of names to a request that's been made constantly since beta isn't going to suddenly make them shift their priority list.
Sorry to be so negative, but I guess I'm annoyed at all these "petitions" that make people think it's going to do some good. Just keep starting threads about important topics and get people to talk about them. But I don't need to slog through a list of 100 "/agree" and "/signed" posts.
