Thread: **edit**, Torches need electronics but Lamps do not???
This may be nice for Architects that aren't also Master Artisans since they don't need to buy the extra component but from a "makes sense" standpoint, well it doesn't...
Just my 2 credits I guess.

Aye, wondered that too. I mean why in the world do you need an electronics module in a torch to begin with. I mean what kind of electronic control do you need for fire on a stick?
Also, why even have torches? All houses have built in lighting. Why don't the lamps light up?
I speak of Naboo houses, btw..do not know about other styles.
well, I look at it this way. You wouldn't have real torches in the high tech homes you are building so, the electronics GP module is there to create a Hologram or the torch, smoke and crackling sound.
now, you can also say that torches are the only items that actually light up and thats why they need the module.
does it really make sense that a lamp doesn't light? no, but that seems to fit in with so many things in this game and this profession.
True, I didn't think of Naboo houses may be darker. I know my Corellian houses, I have to turn my brightness way down when I go inside as the glare of the lights off the walls will blind you.
I believe they have the lighting up too far in Corellian/Generic houses. Not too sure about Tatooine houses.
Ya know, I never thought of it possibly being a hologram
I am still stuck in fantasy games where a torch is a torch ![]()
Either way, lamps should give off a white glow.
