Thread: Post Patch: What Percent is needed for a Med Rate 10 Chem, Gas, and Water Harv?
Hello Everyone,
I have experimented both the fluid pump and the eff. of these harv's up to 95% and still only have a rate 9 medium harv. Anyone know the new threshold for these harv's with the new patch?
If you know the % needed for others that would be helpful.

Using old fluid pumps at 93% and with a final combine of 84% I was just able to make a BER 10 chemical.
One hint to help you achieve a BER 10 chem. Use fuel petrochemicals. They have OQ and DR, but not UT/SR/HR. When it is missing the "required" stat, the item is not used on the combine.
I was able to get to a 97% Fluid Drilling Pump schematic, and achieve BER10's with one point (out of 10) left for the hopper doing this. UT/SR/DR on the steel was 950+ (Using Ales steel)

In my experience a harvesting mechanism, be it a light ore mining unit, a fluidic drill pump etc, that is at least 90% will always yeild a BER 10 at 84% in the final combine.
My question is:
I have been able to make 98% ore mining units with two amazing successes
My sources UT 1000, SR 960+, HR 960+
Is seems feasable that you can get 99 or 100% so,
with at least 16 more % points to work with in the final combine, are BER's higher than 10 possible?
I have seen at least one person claim to have made 11 ber mediums, but I don't believe everything I read.
And MistakenIden thats good advice, lub oil of any quality is crucial to have for an Architect.
Also, the stuff in your final combine affects both the odds on getting a ten, and the points sometimes left over.
Use LQ ore and metal in the final combine, and no matter what your mechanism is, you won't get a ten.
Use very HQ stuff, and you'll get to 10 with points left over.
IMHO use `90% mechanism with900-910 average UT/Heat/Shock in the final combine (always use lube oil as chem)and you'll get 10 with no points left over and no wasted credits for the uber stuff with 950s. Make your schematic, and pound these out.
