Thread: About Factories
A few months back I made a crate of items in my friends factory... he was the 'owner' of it... it was my schematic and I inserted the schematic into the factory... when the crate had been created I took it out and saw that the crate said it was created by the factory 'owner' when I 'removed item from crate' the individual item said it was made by me... this is what I wanted....... so my name will be on the items and people know who to contact if they wish to buy more
THE PROBLEM
a few days ago I repeated this same exact process in a new location and the factory 'owner' was a different person as before......... but everything else was the same...
HOWEVER
this time as last the crate said it was created by the factory 'owner' and when I 'removed item from crate' the individual item ALSO said that it was made by the factory 'owner'
when did this get changed?
is it an intentional design or a bug?
if intentional, what is the purpose of this?
the schematic creator should be listed as the creator of the individual item... I'm not concerned about being the 'creator' of the crate, but how can I establish my reputation if each item I sell has not my name but the name of another?
NOW
I know I could put the factory on my lot and then it would work... but I shouldn't have to do this......... then what's the point of letting people share factories?
I know I probably left something out but I'm going to go ahead and submit.

This little bug/issue has been around for a couple of months now. It sux, but nothing new.
