Thread: Question about houses
I have a house.
I have made another person an administrator, and given them permission to enter.
They cannot drop items in the house, nor pick up items that I have dropped there.
Is this a bug, or do I have to do something else to allow them to use the house in that manner?
If I make it public, does that mean that anyone can come into the house?
There must be a way to share the functionality of a house with others... Could anyone please tell me how?
Thank you in advance
Currently only the onwer can drop stuff in the house, I think I heard that will change thou.
If you make your house public and one can enter and walk around and such.
To the best of my knowledge, this has NEVER worked, even in Beta. Also, Admin permissions don't work on Factories either (only the owner can access the Input/Output hoppers).
But I've never seen a Dev address these problems. I'm somewhat afraid they don't want to, because it will greatly reduce the need for houses and factories, because many people will simply share. With fewer people needing their own house/factories, Architects will make even less money than they are now.
It's very subtle, but I've seen the screenshot. Basically, the texture is "mirrored" at one location, and kind of like an inkblot the result is somewhat suggestive with certain things in the right places. Intentional? Probably not.

I am working on a city layout on graph paper so that we can move buildings arround to better arrange the city, and well am wondering how many meters in depth and width that each building takes up. This is so that I can better plan out the reorganization.
IE: A Small tatooine House is X meters long and Y Meters wide. (Does the style also affect that?)
Also same thing with the factories. this way I can plan in an industrial sector
