Please change the sound effect and the activation radius for the automatic doors in generic houses. That sounds is annoying, and in the larges, so many doors are so close together, all I hear is that sound. I mean, I like the idea of a big wooshing door opening effect for my main door, but not for every one in my place.

Okay, that was odd. Sorry for the double post. Anyway. On the topic of sound effects. Is there anyway you guys could turn down the sound of the shuttle ports. Now that they are in player cities, that's a pretty loud and constant droning noise to have right in the middle of all things.

And why are you asking the Architects about this rather than the developers? Last time I checked we weren't able to experiment on "sound effect" while making a house.

I'm aware of that, Master Architect myself.However, it is a housing issue (directly related to architect then) and these forums seem to get a little more personal attention from the moderators and a little slower moving than the development boards. By that rational I figure that this is the best place to have it read by someone who has their lips next to the ear of our Gods.

If the gods weren't about 3 months backlogged looking into the "top 5" list from architect then I might agree with you. Given that the Gods haven't even said anything back to the architect correspondent for over a month, I'm not holding my breath for any 'divine intervention'.
