I see heavy water harvs on vendors all the time and just am amazed when I see them for 150k or so. I'm not complaining or anything, but it would be nice if a few of the other schematics were extremely different in the amount of materials they take.

Charging only25% premium on the gas's is giving them away. They use 8x the amount of good steel as any other heavy harvester.
I just refuse to make them for resale, only make them for friends on request.
As for moisture... while its true they don't use walls, walls are made from Crap Ore and Crap Steel, and as a rule aren't very valuable. My pricing struture is based 75% on the amount of quality materials I have to use, and then 25% for the rest, as the other materials do have some value.
But to be honest, the amount of walls/structure modules that go into a structure do not contribute much into my pricing scheme.

I take an almost identical approach. Since the water vaporators only require structural modules, I only charge 100K for those. Gas harvesters requiring vast amounts of high quality steel I charge 175K for. Other BER13s are 150K.

Most definitely, with 7,100 untis of the HQ steel that is an extra cost of around 15-20k compared to the other heavies.

I started making a lot of these recently... and watched as my supply of high quality steel RAPIDLY diminished.
I decided that I needed to adjust my rates!
I was charging 145k for all my heavy harvestors. But there are now two exceptions:
A) Gas Harvestors I now sell for 160k due to the insane amount of HIGH QUALITY steel it requires to make one (about 8 to 10k)
B) High Efficiency Moisture Vaporators I sell for 100k because they only take 6 structure modules (which I still think is a bug
But I'm not complaining).
Do you guys charge more for Gas harvestors? If not, you should. Heeee

I also charge a premium for heavy gas. My price for gas is about 25% more than my minerals.

I've only made a few of these, and 2 were for myself, but yea, the steel requirements for a Gas is outrageous, isn't it? From an opportunity cost perspective, a Gas could easily have a 2x or even 3x price tag over any other heavy.

What y'all said. $160K for most. $150K for fusions. $200K for gas. When I tell them "Gas is 6500 units of ubermetal, vs 1200ish for everything else", I never get complaints.

Folks you need to realize that we're on different servers - and different servers = different economies
